The owner Phillip Reygate has been in the motor trade since 1984 and started his own independent high street garage and MOT Testing Station in West Wickham, Kent in 1989. As the business flourished, he started to look at alternative interests, including racing his own Caterham 7 and TVR Tuscan.  With the experience he gained during several seasons with the Caterham Challenge and Jaguar Car Club, Rhino Motorsport was started offering a fully comprehensive race support package.  Since then, Rhino Motorsport has given support to drivers within a range of race series and track day events.

In recent years Rhino has focused more on sourcing and retailing specialist sport cars such as TVRs and Caterhams, along with mainstream vehicles.
